I guess I'll break my gear ban on RFF:
Pentax Spotmatic: great lenses, solid build, small size, excellent view finder.
Rolleiflex: mine is a T, but others are the same, easy handling, excellent lens, viewfinder is great especially with a Rick Oleson replacement, EV link so metering is simple.
Mamiya Super 23: you would have to see the negatives!!!!!
Pentax 6x7: really an SLR but bigger and heavier, still difficult to miss with this camera.
Bessa R: great meter, great viewfinder, light and fairly small.
I could also add; Olympus 35RC (auto exposure with manual), Pentax P3n, (auto exposure, split image viewfinder, light, Balda Hapo 66e (excellent folder for vacations).

1. Leica M6 - The perfect rangefinder. Fully mechanical but if you want a light meter, it's there. I have the TTL version, so having that giant shutter dial makes it even better.
2. Pentax K1000 - Get one of the earlier models and you'll effectively have access to all M42 and K-mount lenses if you get a genuine Asahi Pentax adapter.
3. Polaroid Land Camera 250 - One of the best land cameras around. Solid built quality and that Zeiss Ikon rangefinder make focusing a breeze.
4. Polaroid OneStep 600 - Another great Polaroid, and holds a special place in my heart for being my first camera I ever used extensively.
5. Miranda Sensomat - Always known as the poor man's Nikon F due to the removable prism finder so you could shoot at chest/waist level. However, it has one thing that puts it above the F for me—that front-facing shutter release.

1: Mamiya 645 ProTl with motor, prism and the 55/2.8 N/L. Guess I could live with just that one.
2: Canon 5DII, not the most sexy, but a workhorse that always deliver.
3: Fuji GA645Zi silly looking toy but packs a punch
4: Canon EOS RT have shot so much with it I still can pick it up and remember each setting
5: Praktica MTL3 far better cameras than their internet reputation
Quite a few that just didn't make it for one reason or another.

Dealing with the cameras that made me fall in love with photography either initially or reinvigorated my passion. In historical order.
Kodak Instamatic (126 cartridge)
Contax 139
Nikon D700
Fujifilm X100
Leica M2
Honourable mention should also go to Rolleiflex 3.5F which is the nicest MF camera I've used. Also my XE2 has allowed me to continue shooting digital when my D700 became to heavy for me to use on a regular basis. Thinking about it I'd need an eighth choice for my Zenith EM which was my first 35mm camera when I was thirteen. The M2 and Contax 139 are my top two.

1.) Leica M9
2.) Fuji X100(s)
3.) Nikon FE
4.) Fuji X-Pro 2
5.) Pentax 645Z
Not many film cameras on this list, but hey everything else is what I work with and adore. The Canon 5D MK IV is excellent as well but not "top 5" status.
