It was one of those 'scattered rains' kind of weekends here in San Francisco.

Took some photos inside at a restaurant and some of the rain - but all in all just tried to stay dry and warm 🙂

Here are some digital snaps from this afternoon - the RF stuff is still in the cameras (brought both the III (F) and the M3) 🙂

Made a few bucks.

Registered a new domain name (mattocksphotography.com) rented some server space, and did the prelim to get it working.

Sent about 11 thousand photos to Mpix for printing.

Fought with my CD-ROM burner to get photos ready for the local newspaper (their photog didn't show up, so they asked me). Finally got it, after much cursing. (Hint: when you break a CD-ROM in half in frustration, bend it away from your face. Looked like I was wearing glitter).

Took out trash.

I did a lot of nothing this weekend. I felt crappy this weekend. I didn't even get to do the shots of the windmills. Next weekend, though, I'm going to enjoy doing lots of photographing...because it's pretty much all I'm going to do.

Purty! I like that. I'm hopeless when it comes to making a web page look good. About all I can do is make it comply with standards. Not sexy, that.

I'm not the skilled web guy of the world. I know enough to keep the design simple. My biggest decision was white background/black text or black background/white text.
It's about the pictures anyway, and who wants to maintain something elaborate?

went for a long walk today and shot some RFF contest shots...though none of them are winners. it was a nice few hours with an old friend who likes photography, talking about art and making pictures...

Oh, and I had brunch with a friend who is managing some home building projects and we discussed the real estate market in Northern California.

At first it was a pain to snap a photo of her....

But when I handed her the III (F) to play with she slowed down.....

Even peeked out from behind it....

..and allowed a more normal photo 🙂

Mostly Sucked.

Wife is sick. Mother and law is sick.

Got up to take Cory my step son to the airport by 4:30 AM. He was sick.

Sleeted yesterday and today.

I've been sucking on Cold Eeze zinc gluconate lozenges all day andnight. Their saving grace - they have saved my butt from full blowncold viruses like the one going through my house and they are wildcherry flavored. I've been sneezing and sniffling since Friday. I havedeadlines, but I don't know what they entail yet.

I want to go to the beach and walk in the sun.

I did shoot a tiny little local fair. But not with one of my RFs. I can't get my Fuji to download.

Foo.

Think I'll go eat worms.

Brownies would be better.

Light snow in Colorado Springs today. This morning I picked up the darkroom; I wanted to photograph it with a "new" used Voigtlander 15mm lens. I also picked up around the house, washed clothes, and surfed the net, photographed my sons playing computer games, listened to music, looked out the window. I know: Yawn. A lazy day.

Took the lady to the airport, photographed a little in downtown Raleigh, NC. Made a sad face when the Tarheels lost to Boston College, and an even sadder one when Duke won. Watched the season opener of the Sopranos!

Bought a blue FED2 from Kim. I cant wait till it gets here.
