Some months on, my answer is pretty much the same. For personal work, I'd still get a secondhand M10-R with EVF. The M10-R would/should last at least another 10-15 years, given that my M9 is now 11 years old.
This would cost about AUD $12,000, leaving me with $8000 for other things. Since I got my Distagon 35 last year, I haven't wanted any other lens, it is just that good.
So I'd use that $8000 to get a secondhand Sony A7R III, Sony 24-105mm f4, Sony 24 and 35mm f1.4, 55mm f1.8 and Sigma DN Art 85mm f1.4. With secondhand gear, this should probably be possible for $8000. Add some spare batteries, maybe a couple of LED lights, maybe a light carbon fibre slider.
Let me talk more about the Distagon, haha. I feel it's an endgame lens for many people. The more I look at images taken with my Voigtlander 35mm f1.4 and f1.2 v1, the more I think they would have looked a whole lot better taken with the Distagon. Stop down to f2 and I bet it beats the Zeiss f2 Biogon, and at f2.8 it should beat the C Biogon. If you like 35mm and want something with gorgeous sharpness, colour, hardly any coma/halo, and with superb 3D rendering, the Distagon is it. No more hankering for a Voigtlander 50mm f1.2, 35mm f1.2 v3, 40mm f1.2, the Distagon just does it for me. Besides, if I really want 50mm I've got a Summicron and C Sonnar. But I've barely touched those since getting the Distagon at the end of last year. Thank you for coming to my GAS Talk.
