Zeiss 1000mm / 5.6 monster lens

Hello! I just got a wooden box with this lens, a black late version, like new.

It seems to be a rare lens and a very good one.

I got it at a great price, so I am asking late, now: what is this lens good for? It has 14 kilos in weight, so impossible to carry it around. Maybe just for moon photography, right?

What would you use it for? Thanks!

Yes, that's the one. But a late one, from 1980 - 1981, last production years I am guessing.
