So many true artisans in India....one of the aspects that makes it such a special place!
Was the guy in this last image reacting to seeing you using Zeiss glass on a Leica? :D
Great shot and he looks quite a character! :)

Here are some recent photos from Kolkata. I shot everything with my m6ttl on Kodak Pro Image 100.

I was waking up early every morning and hitting the streets and I noticed that there are so many people that sleep outside on the streets. I ran into these two guys doing an impromptu photo shoot in the mix of all of this.

Lovely images as always, Michael. Did you shoot some Cinestill 800 on this trip too?

A suggestion... the thread will load a lot faster for the viewer if the posted photo size is a max. of 1024 pixels on the long side.

Thanks a lot Jon, I just went back and re-sized the photos so hopefully they load faster now.

All nice, as usual, but the second one, silhouetted figure in the water, in the sun's reflection, caught perfectly in, and viewed through, the triangle of the billowing gauzy cloth, on film, is above and beyond. Talk about yer decisive moment. Hats off.

Thanks a lot Larry, I loved hanging out on the banks of the river and trying to "look" for photos.

The title says it all, feel free to post some photos if you have or used this lens.

The 35mm f/1.4 is a personal favorite. I use a Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 on my Leica M6 and a Nikkor 35mm f/1.4 on my Nikon SLRs.

I use the 35 on my Nikon much more than I do the 35 on my Leica. However, your spectacular images have inspired me to use my Zeiss 35 more often.
