Pure Eye Candy, Yum !

Thanks a lot Helen, oftheherd and Jon. Jon, it is always a pleasure to see your photos of Japan, thanks a lot for posting

I have heard many, many different explanations why some Thai teenagers like to put a coin in their ear and so far, I am still absolutely confused on this "trend".

This is at my local gas station. When I told him that I used to work at a gas station for a couple of months in America doing the same job as him when I was still in high school, he looked at me like I was crazy.

Here is a recent one from the local boat pier by my new condo. There are lots of water taxis that run up and down the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok and drop passengers off at piers. I like to hang around this particular boat pier around "the golden hour" and watch and learn from the changing light and try to take photos.

I recently bought one of these as I sold off all my Leica lenses and moved back into Zeiss ZM glass. I just have three but it's plenty for me, the ZM 28, 50 Planar and this beastly 35 Distagon. I'm still learning the lens and its strengths and trying to acclimate to its size but here's my first round of images with it!

Here's another batch. My wife and I were checking out Cathedral Park in Portland which is this really ornate and rather pretty bridge. All shots were taken on Portra 400.
