You don't rewind but take out the film including the pickup spool, if I don't mistake your camera for something it isn't. You then switch the empty spool to the pickup position and voilà! ready for a new film.

It has auto film rewind. I think your battery is out of juice.
just kidding. Medium format film is never rewound. Goes from spool to spool.
From spool to spool to reel to pool.

This is why, if you're buying your first medium format camera, to make sure there's a spool in the camera already, or ask the seller to include one.

Already have a Voigtlander on the way- (I hope) from behind the previously iron (now gauze) curtain...Pherdinand said:yeah well, it may be the first but i can tell it won't be the last one!![]()

Having loaded up on 120 folders this past year, I noted that many of them come with metal spools in the take-up position. I pull these out immediately and tuck them away someplace safe. You can simply ask your film processor for empty plastic ones to use.
Maybe some day those metal spools will be very valuable and I'll be able to retire. Or, if I sell the camera, I can always advertise "vintage spool".
