I used this combo side by side with two Leica M cameras recently.

The lens is in QBM mount for the Rollei 35mm SLR system. It is a 50mm lens that few lenses can surpass in overall quality for rendition. The EPL1 is set to Natural Colors.

Raid these are very nice images. And you clearly live in an interesting an beautiful part of the world. I should also add that it always seems to me that there is something about foggy mornings that soothe the soul.

Thank you Peter.
Yes, I find our area here very beautiful. I look forward to foggy mornings.

Nice images and interesting concept!

When I am out shooting with my Leica M, I usually carry a 35mm Nikon SLR with a 135mm f/2 telephoto lens. Until this thread, I had never considered carrying a smaller and lighter micro 4/3 with a fast 50mm f/1.4 lens.

Thanks for the idea.

My SWC has the equivalent of a 21mm lens, and the E-P2 with 25/1.4 has a "50mm" lens while the E-PL1 with a 50/1.4 has a "100mm" lens. The M 4/3 have built-in image stabilization system and a 10X focus assist. This makes focusing the 50/1.4 very easy to do.

This lens has very high resolution. It was considered to be one of the finest 50mm SLR lenses ever made.

I once asked Amedeo to convert the lens mount to M for me. After quite a while, he then told me that it cannot be done.

Thank you Huss. In bad weather I like such a light outfit.
In case it is not clear, this is an SLR lens that was made for the Rollei 35mm system in the 1960's (or so). The mount is called QBM. I used an adapter for QMB-M4/3 for a 100mm crop. The E-PL1 has built-in IS system and also a 10X magnifying focus assist. The lens is first class, in my opinion. I keep on using it. The sharpness is awesome.
