Just an head-up for my friends: on ebay.it you can find a zenzanon rf 100/4.5 mint and boxed, located in Berlin @100 EURO .NO RELATION WITH THE SELLER.
 
KEH has had one available for some time now for $920. Rated as excellent. A year ago that would have been considered cheap and bought up quickly. Sign of the times I guess.

It's very strange but I bought one of these from KEH a year or so ago for $399.00 ... why they had it listed at that price I'll never know because the lens was as new when it arrived.

Needless to say when I checked the listing it I couldn't click the 'buy it now' button fast enough! Some kind soul here spotted it and directed me to it.
 
Six years ago the new price of the 100mm at Adorama was $489, and then there was a $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total outlay to $439. By 3 years later this lens had become hard to find... In May 06 one sold on eBay in the mid-$1300's and another on 6/23/06 went for $1400 on Buy-It-Now to a UK buyer. Seems what piqued our interest then also peaked in price... 🙂
 
I sold my 100mm lens (in excellent condition) on eBay in August 2008 for £700, which was then equivalent to about $1,400. It's stunning how much prices have fallen. Any RF645 owner who still doesn't have this lens should jump on the next one -- it's superb.
