Hi, I'm using a ZI and wearing glasses, so I can just make out the 28 mm frames. It gets much better with the naked eye, but then I would need one of those diopter adjustment lenses.

Now comes the big question: will those fit onto the ZM external viewfinders as well? Somewhere on Japan Exposures it sounded like it, but I would prefer first-hand experience.

Next question: What's your experience in working with these adjustment lenses? How much of a hassle is it if you can see your subject only with the camera to your eye? Or do you run around with glasses and take them off only for shooting?

Yes the diopter correction lenses will fit both the camera and the Zeiss external vf's. Better yet, also the Nikon FM series diopter lenses (and I think CV Bessa lenses?) will fit as well.

No personal experience though on the corrective lenses as I do not wear glasses. (just experience from the neutral diopter prism protector lenses)

The CV lenses fit. I use one.

But I'm continually switching between using it and not using it. On one hand I find I can't see the 28mm frame with glasses and the other I get tired of taking my glasses off all the time.

If I'm not using a 28mm I tend to not use it and keep my glasses on. But I use a 28mm quite a lot.

Best solution is contact lenses, which I used to wear, but now I can't wear them and I find it's a pain.
