Just purchased my first FSU camera - a very clean Zorki "C". It seems to be in good working order except for a missing film take-up spool. Where can I get one? Does anyone out there have one for sale?

I do it the lazy way, I take a spool from a used canister, I cut oft the leader of the film and tape it to the spool.

Ups, sorry, I do this with a Kiev, don't know if it'll work with a Zorki.

I bought my first Zorki from an antique shop in the old city area of Warsaw. I had always wanted a Leica when I was a kid. I know it wasn't a Leica, but it looked close enough. It took about a month of research to find out what it was, and that it needed a spool. Eventually I found one on the auction site. Try Fedka too. Dave

Alex-photo on eBay sells spools for the Zorki. Make sure that you get one made for the Zorki. A later Zorki plastic spool should work. These were made to fit older models, so it will fit most cameras with a bit of looseness.

Many of the older spools may or may not work. Try not to get those made for the FED. They came with variations, though minor, are enough to prevent them from working in other cameras.
