What have you just BOUGHT?

Pany GF3 to make an uber small street shooter. So far not loving the usability compared to the GF1. It's also shockingly loud.

Spotmatic with a 50/1.4 Super Takumar (early 8 element version) and a 28/ 3.5 Super Takumar.

Another Street Strap ...
http://www.streetstrap.com

I bought one of these recently to try it out with the X2 and find I like it so much that I've purchased another to use with the M9. I know: the A&A silk cord neck strap is probably even nicer but at less than half the cost I wonder that the difference is all that great.

I just wish they made one with short flat leather ends for the other kind of neck strap fittings so I could use it with my GXR as well. Round or triangle split rings simply don't work with that camera's neck strap slots. I might have to make something that will...

Came into some funds recently, with this effect (not all at once--over a 6 week period!--but still, quite gassy though pleased to say not extravagant, cost-wise):

Rolleiflex 2.8D, Bronica RF, Leica CL (working meter), Zeiss Ikonta 520/16 in mint shape. Littler things: Serenar 100mm brightline, Rolleimeter, Rollei panorama head.

And now that my friends think of me as a camera lunatic, I'm beginning to receive gifts: 1965 Konica Autorex with EE (electric eye, early AE) and switchable to half-frame! with a 57/1.4. First roll of Delta 100 in it today.

The Rollei's Planar is wonderful wonderful wonderful. I got one of the best shots I have ever made on the first roll, and more credit is due to the lens than the photographer. But the Ikonta is my first folder and I must say that I am entirely happy with it in pocket, plus either the Luna Pro or my GRDIII as a mini-meter/test shooter round my neck. If the 75 Tessar responds as well as the rest of the mechanics, then I'll be set for a carry-all-the-time/ everywhere 6x6.

Don't know why precisely other than a hit by Magpie Syndrome, but I've just acquired a Leica CL body, case and instruction manual. It will join my M4-2, M9 and GXR-M in sharing lenses.

Should be here in a week or so. I've got the M-Rokkor 40/2, M-Rokkor 90/4 and an Ultron 28/2 that will suit it very nicely.

If that was the CL from the classes that Sherry Krouter overhauled, then thats a sweet deal.

. . . . . picked up three rolls of ADOX CHS 25 SCHWARZWEISSFILM B&W 35mm
I'm a film user, not a buff, and I am not familiar with this film, what do you like about it?

I just blew my savings on a 35 Lux Asph, thanks Nathan!

I bought the G3. It took a while, but I am getting used to the touch screen and the missing controls. Great images. I haven't noticed the loudness.

Nikkor 24-50 / f3.3-4.5D, used (ex), $120 from KEH.

A spontaneous purchase. I need another lens like a hole in my head, but the price hooked me good.

I've very recently bought a second-hand Voigtlander Nokton Classic (multicoated) 40mm f/1.4, to use with a Minolta CLE (I already have a Rokkor 40mm, but wanted to test the Nokton).

I also have both lenses (M-Rokkor 40/2 II and Nokton 40/1.4). I'll be interested to hear your feelings about them in comparison.

I like both very much.
