Thinking Bessa-1 folder loaded with Extar 100 for landscapes and Canon 7D+ 60mm Tamron Macro for getting up close will make a nice combo for shooting fall colors.
So far just seeing small hints of this years colors.

For the fall colours I always try to have a few rolls of Fujicolor C100 or C200 ready. This is opposite to my standard colour film I use (Ektar 100). For my liking (and my workflow) the Fujicolor renders the red-orange-yellow-brown thing better than the slightly cold Ektar colors just out of the development/scan, without heavy corrections in post.

Digital for fall colours. Canon G12 - the Powershots always deliver pang colors.

I just picked up an Alpha 900 for cheap, so I will capture fall armed with some Minolta primes...and most likely some Ektar with my Contaxes

I usually shoot Portra for color, but in the fall, it's Ektar season for me. I tend to stick with 50mm lenses and Ektar this time of year.

Zero 2000 + Velvia 100F. Better hurry. Fall colors will be short and muted due to summer drought.
I think the Carolina's will see some good colour. We had our share of rain. I felt I had to mow the yard every other day.

I love Kodak Gold. Overexpose about a stop for more saturation. Can anyone suggest some film that's friendly for a predominantly B&W shooter who is willing to pass over tmax and take advantage of the seaskn in the northeast? I'd heard some film (kodak gold, maybe?) have a weird green color cast only in the shade...

Well, I've learned that the Hex 60 is the lens to bring. I plan to double with my new Biogon 25 and macro 50/2 on OM.
As to where.... well, I love Kyoto but after several years of shooting Fall there, I actually know where specific trees are and that seems wrong. So, I may daytrip to Koyasan to mix it up. Also going to try slide film across the board this year. woot.

Went on an Excellent Adventure two weekends ago up to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with a photobud to shoot the fall colours, waterfalls and the like.
Still waiting to get my slides back, but I assume that there will be enough pictures in reasonable focus and decently exposed of Natures Splendor to cure me for a long while.
