Whatever
Not bought, but was given. I purchased a number of glass plate holders for my Contessa Nettel Deckrullo Tropical 6.5x9cm and the seller gave me this 120 roll film holder in the hope that I could somehow adapt it to fit. Well as most of my ‘bright’ ideas seem to hit me while in the shower, I figured out a way to make it fit. Lowe’s aluminum strip to the rescue once again (along with some adhesive felt from Michaels) and it fits perfectly.
Now the only thing is to see if the film plane is in the right spot, and I’ll hopefully find out this weekend.

I was seriously tempted to buy that when it appeared on eBay, really like that teak(?) and chrome look. Now that you own a tropical camera, why not take it to the tropics!Contessa Nettel Deckrullo Tropical 6.5x9cm

Some more IXMOO's and a Nikon F black 64 at tasty prices. Sold some reloadable Zeiss cassettes, a late 50 DR and 50 R. Not much of a 50 shooter anymore.

Matched Pair Sinar Norma 300mm f5.6 chrome Symmars 5x7 TLR Norma camera great for portraiture. 4x5 Reducing Backs and Reflex Viewfinder make it true TLR. I'm leaving this camera set up in the studio.
New canvas background from David Maheu like it "Tim Kelly Gold Plaster"

Arrived yesterday:
Nice size and weight lens, fits the CL very well. Quick tests show it performs well, too.

Against my better judgement I just bought a Visoflex II to put on my Leica IIIc. The plan is to use it for multi-exposure macro shots since it’s super easy to do multi exposure in a barnack.

You'll have to tell us how you like it (or not). I was supposed to get one with the proper focus tab earlier this year. I've been hesitating.... probably being silly.

Thank you! I like it, and posted a little bit about it here: https://www.rangefinderforum.com/node/4774396#post4774396
I like the V1 model with the short peg focus tab, it's very similar to my LTM Color-Skopar 28mm f/3.5.

Desperate but not serious
I pulled the trigger so to say on Zeiss Ikon Zm formerly owned by our one and only Tom A (thanks Tuulikki!). II spent my break today sending a roll of tri-x threw it as a it's first test roll.
I also have a LEITZ BRAUN 340 SCA Vario Zoom Electronic Hot Shoe Flash Unit for it on the way too.

Speaking of Zeiss: I recently bought a Biogon 21mm ZM and a 25mm ZM. Could not decide so I got both.

For some reason I always expected these to be very flimsy stamped tin kind of feeling but it isn't that way at all, very solid. Greased the helicoid, cleaned the lens and degreased the aperture blades. Haven't tried measuring it yet but the shutter seems to be working fine.

The love child of a Leica and an Argus. An odd beast to be sure; back in the sixties, a relative, knowing of my budding interest in photography, gave me one that was identical to yours. It didn't have sufficient snob appeal for me at the time (the cool kid at school had a Nikon F!) and I never used it. I wish I had that camera now, like so many others that passed through my hands (Oh, that sweet Exakta VXIIA !). And I agree, it was a hefty and solid beast.
And Shawn, didn't you and I agree that there would be no more camera GAS? Or was it just Pentax 645 GAS? Okay, I admit I've been cheating as well, with Mamiya TLRs...

Just Arrived! On one hand, the cheapest camera ever at 25 cents, available in gum ball vending machines. On the other hand, a camera that has appreciated 60 times...that MINI CAMERA sell for about $15 now. ••••on yet another hand, a light tight box holding a lens opposite film. >>>> given I’ve got some experience making these cameras “work” and make good images, this one may be a challenge!
