RG, it is a mixed blessing. I still cherish every moment we spent together, so long ago. And I regret that there were not more. On balance I am the better for it. Her parents liked me a lot. I think because I treated her with such respect. She had a great brain, a great wit and had complete integrity. She was a good kisser, too. ;o)
She is buried out on Cape Cod. I hope to drive from Oregon to the Cape and visit the grave and place a stone on her gravestone, the custom with Jewish graves to say, "I visited; I care, I wish you and your soul all the best."
