W/NW: Trains and Train Stations

These are a few down and dirty cell phone shots of the L&N depot in Nashville as it stands today. There haven’t been passengers through there in decades but it’s A luxury hotel today. It’s an amazing place.

I’m surprised no one has posted photos of union station in Cincinnati. It’s one of the most impressive examples of Art Deco architecture I’ve ever seen.

It's an old German song about folks who have visited Berlin and need an excuse to go back so they say they left their suitcase in the main train station. "Ich hab mein Koffer . . . " Maybe you were not lucky to have your suitcase found so soon. But, you could lie and say you left it there.
