Camera and Coffee

& no worries if you spill the coffee. Great cameras
I always exercise caution when dealing with photography involving liquids and cameras. And of course I did so in this particular work. But as you point out in your response, at least from the perspective of what might happen if the cup of coffee spilled on the camera, I would be less concerned...

In any case, after what this camera, which once belonged to the Israeli Navy, has been through, no cup of coffee will scare it.

CR, I sold the CL anniversary.....& not long after a friend gave me his CL with both the 40mm Summicron C & the 90 f4.... they just find me. Currently the lllg is getting lots of use

I considered a CL briefly, but even DAG won't touch them anymore because of lack of parts, as I understand it. Also, it would solve no problem that the existing lot cannot handle ... so I tell myself. OTOH, if I find one at a flea market for $100, I'd buy it 😉

Strange.... DAG worked on my 50 Anniversary CL and changed the meter cell.... 2 short yrs ago....& Don told me he had parts including the plastic takeup spool that occasionally breaks. He also opined that the camera is much more robust than people give it credit for.
