Same here~ This morning I spent more time in the AI swamp and was able to confirm -insofar as this is possible, that it's the AIs version with the Gauss optical formula, and was likely made between 1987 and 1995. Cheers, OtLI just own a bunch of Nikkor lenses.
I always exercise caution when dealing with photography involving liquids and cameras. And of course I did so in this particular work. But as you point out in your response, at least from the perspective of what might happen if the cup of coffee spilled on the camera, I would be less concerned...& no worries if you spill the coffee. Great cameras
That's a great image!
....there is an M4...... ....they do get used...🙂
CR, I sold the CL anniversary.....& not long after a friend gave me his CL with both the 40mm Summicron C & the 90 f4.... they just find me. Currently the lllg is getting lots of useWell, I confess to a IIIf, M2, M4, and M5 so I guess I shouldn't complain ...

Strange.... DAG worked on my 50 Anniversary CL and changed the meter cell.... 2 short yrs ago....& Don told me he had parts including the plastic takeup spool that occasionally breaks. He also opined that the camera is much more robust than people give it credit for.I considered a CL briefly, but even DAG won't touch them anymore because of lack of parts, as I understand it. Also, it would solve no problem that the existing lot cannot handle ... so I tell myself. OTOH, if I find one at a flea market for $100, I'd buy it 😉
Brilliant camera. I have a Vivitar knockoff, the 35ES, that is quite interesting in terms of size and ergonomics. Of course the Vivitar lens is not a match for the Konica.Konica Auto S3 and coffee bag steeping.

Yes! And tell us what the worlds best camera is (was?).Let's go through this issue and see if there is any nice ad to post to the relative thread. I love the point&shoot ME with the tiny 28mm.
