Thanks Lynn, I didn’t realize this was a known phenomenon, but of course it is. This was after the big snowstorm that I documented elsewhere. The only other amazing thing I have seen that is probably not quite as rare was an incredible green flash at sunset in the Caribbean while I was in the Navy, but those don’t stand still and pose like this did.
