Haha I took a punt on the Tx bit there's almost no way it's getting to Melbourne, Australia in a couple of weeks.
I really doubt I will see it at all.
But as with the Neopan; I will keep my fingers crossed.

Seconded. Yes, I got some excellent pics eventually, at the cost of about 5 rolls of film in different developers, first for different times, then at different dilutions. I found it extremely critical when it comes to exposure (EI 80 at best, using a spot meter for the shadows, safer at 50 with other kinds of metering), with a tiny developer repertoire. If you are planning on using LOTS of Acros in future, it's worth bothering. Otherwise not.. . . But I don't like Acros at any cost...
Cheers,
R.

On March 11 I ordered 5 rolls of Tri-X. The seller still hasn't accepted the payment. Anyone's order move yet?

hhmm... this reminded me of the Mr.Zhou leica leather case that sold for 1/10 of the price compare with Mr.Zhou original seller, have sporadic "good review" and then finally after operating for a few months the entire account was gone.
I browse the listing and look at a few it seems that there are also EXACT same listing with same picture but price at $58 and different user.
You may waiting for the package for months because the seller would say "free-shiping" will be slow and will take 2 months, but if I remember correctly ebay policy is that you need to open a case within 30 days of purchase, by then the scammer would already clean his account so it does not matter if ebay lock his paypal, so beware~

Yeah I would tend to agree. I wouldn't use it for my everyday stuff.
But for messing around with pinhole its really wonderful not to have to mess around calculating reciprocity failure.

My payment was not accepted either.
I requested eBay cancel my purchase.
I cancelled my Paypal payment today.
Interestingly the listing is still available...

The listing has been removed... It does not show up in the history (as sold/completed) either. I wonder what has happened to those >130 transactions...

This is about the Tri-x selling:
I got an email from eBay saying the listing is no longer available. I have reported the listing as suspicious and got my money back
You have to get into Paypal and Cancel the payment to this guy.
Across is marked as shipped.

I sent $4.99 .... should I ask for the money back, or don't worry about it, as ebay has said?

It strikes me that it'd be a lot of work to build up 29 positive feedbacks over the period of a year just to scam people out of $17,
Hack someone's account, one that's not recently active, but has good feedback.
These days, eBay protects the buyer. I've had good experience with their buyer protections. Immediate refund in sleeze situations, and it also affects the honest sellers: They are pretty quick to accept a return if there's a problem.

Log into your Paypal account and cancel the transaction. Takes just a moment.

Maybe, maybe not. Ebay once sent me this message after I received the item I paid for. Probably because the seller was reported for something unrelated to your purchase.

Just done. Thanks.
The seller for the Tri-X most likely meant to sell each roll for $4.99.

And realised this after completing 130+ sales?

Maybe he/she is inexperienced in selling on ebay. Has anyone actually received Tri-X from this seller?

No, it was some sort of scam. Ebay shut down his account.

But ebay still wrote us that if we already sent payment that all is fine. I went to paypal and I retracted the $4.99 order.
