Did Leitz make goggles for the 21/4 super-angulon? I ran across this recently and can’t find any reference anywhere as to what it is.

A while back I saw a thread that showed a goggled 21 SA. It is a rare bird.

I think there were a few conversions done by an independent technician. Don't believe Leitz ever made any.

I found this link on it: http://www.kenrockwell.com/leica/21mm-finders.htm.
Leica produced 21mm finders, it seems.

Those goggles look identical to the 50mm dual range so I wouldnt have thought they were for the 21mm. However Tom Abrahamson made goggles for the 28mm

That is a 21mm viewfinder, missing is black rear cover.
And the other is goggles for a 50mm dual range Summicron.
Two separate pieces.

If ever there were a goggled 21, I should think it'd be made as with the goggled 35s -- goggles attached. These are clearly made to be removed, which is right for the Summicron DR as you want the goggles on in the near range and off in the far range, but excess for the 21 as you want the goggles on whenever you have the lens mounted since their purpose isn't to adjust the rangefinder for near focus but to change the magnification of the viewfinder.
And if there were goggles there'd be no need for a separate finder.
These items weren't meant to go together, one is a 21mm external viewfinder the other is a set of goggles from a 50mm Summicron DR

This makes sense. There’s a guy selling a bunch of Leica stuff near me that doesn’t know much about cameras. He’s mixing and matching pictures for the stuff he is selling. He’s also selling a 50mm DR Summicron. I remember reading something about goggles for a 21mm sometime back and assumed that’s what he was selling. I assumed wrong. As pointed out, the goggles are for a DR Summicron and the finder is for the 21mm.
Thanks for clearing this up.

The 21mm w/googles was Reinhold Mueller and TomA's brainchild.
