25/4 for environmental protrait

I think you're right, Roman. That's the same kind of tape that comes to my mind when I hear the term.

Ted, did you get the 👎ever-ready case for the L? The part that stays on the body adds enough bulk and grip IMO to make the L a superb handler. Added bonus is that it also protects the body from scratches. 🙂 I still have the top part of the case but it was relagetd to the back of the cupboard after 5 minutes.

RML: Could you post a picture of your Bessa L with the case bottom on the camera?

Don't know how bulky it is...

Right now I can't post. I'll try to shoot a shot tomorrow, OK?

It's not bulky by any means. The case adds a little bulk, improving holdability of the camera, but the body doesn't get fat.

First picture from Bessa L with 25/4 is in my gallery, titled Cactus near Mexican Border. I've been having a terrible time figuring out how to get sharp scans from very sharp prints. This one is much closer to the original. This was a test to see how close I could get using guestimation focusing (with camera on foot could not see through viewfinder, either). The row of trees along the horizon is one half mile away. It is the Fremont Poplar canopy forest along the San Pedro River.

I think this lens has some possibilities.

Ted
