Anyone else a fan of this slightly odball 3 lens kit? Why?

If my math is correct it's more or less the same relationships as 28-50-90 but a step back.

I have the CV 25/4 and 40/1.4 already. And soon I will buy the CV 75/1.8.

I also use the CV 35/1.4, 50/2.5 and Rokkor 90/4 in the Leica M2.

My ideal 1 lens/camera outfit stars the CV 40/1.4; 2 lens outfit is 35/75, 3 lens outfit is 35/50/90...4 lens add the 25.

Nah, I prefer 15-25-40.

(Super Wide Heliar, Snapshot Skopar, and Summicron-C, FWIW.)

This is very close to the 24, 35, 75 kit I travel with. 35 and 75 do 95% of the work and the 24 is there for scenes that are just a bit too wide for the 35. It works very well, at least for me.

The Tamron 17-50/f2.8 zoom lens is based on that focal length range.

25, 40 set up, no 75 like OP due to CV R4a, also I cannot stand to put more than 1 lens in my pocket. I'm thinking 40 /1.4 is big. must be spoiled.

15-28-40 everyday here, and 90 added some days...

That's real wide, moderate wide, normal and tele. If just two, 28-40. If one, 28.
