Both of these lenses are super nice. But I wouldn't be able to do without the 18 as well.. there are just too many situations that call for something wider than the 27 (40mm equiv.). And just to remind you, Joe... some of your best images here are made with wide angle lenses!

you beat me! i was just going to say that the 18 needs to be in there as well.
i just loaded my little domke with those 3 lenses and that will be my carry kit for a bit.

I’ve been very happy with my 23/2 - 50/2 combination (but usually pack the 14/2.8, too.) I have a 27, but for me it’s not as nice of a fit in a multilens system and is usually used alone.

The 27 is under appreciated because we have to use a thumb wheel for manual aperture settings.
Even though I have the 35/2 I like the 27 and use it often.
