35/2.5 PII M mount

Anybody have any experience with this lens? I'm drawn to it for its compactness, how does it perform? Is it just an M mount version of the 35/2.5 Color Skopar or is it a different animal?

It's a fine lens, Kyle. I've never used a Skopar Classic, but this one is said to be similar, very sharp and contrasty. I used it for most of last year until chopping it in against a 4th version Summicron. The hood is a bit bulky, but very effective. I'd still be using it happily if the 'cron hadn't come up.

i had the 35/2.5 non pancake and it's a great for sharpness but i found it a bit too contrasty.
i would not use a yellow filter with it, for sure.

good size and build quality.
