I too have other Leicas, and my favorite is the M2, with which I normally use a 50mm Elmar (an elegant lens for an elegant camera). Have fun with your wonderful new equipment.rpsawin said:Very nice camera and lens. I own an M2 and an M6. My favorite camera to shoot with is the M2.
I've had the quick load kit in my M2 so long I've pretty much forgotten how/where I got it, how much it was, and how it got installed. It seems to comprise only two parts; a film take-up spool with retracting "handle" which is possibly the same as used in later M models. And a film guide that attaches to the interior of the baseplate that seem intended to push the film up in line with the drive sprockets.steve garza said:Can any one cluse me in on adding a quick load kit to my M2? i.e., how it works, installation, the going price....
