anyone using the body cap lens 9mm yet?

I'm thinking that for next year, my 2 lens kit may be a 25/1.4 lens (needed for indoors/low light), and the bcl 9mm f8 for outside/bright times?

I was using my 25/1.4 and the body cap 15mm for a while. Since I got my GR, I began using that body cap lens next. The 15mm is pretty normal looking, and worked reasonably well, especially for candids.

I recently got the 9mm which is definitely not normal looking, and you have to think a lot more about what your shooting. It's more of a novelty lens, and I don't mean that in a bad way. It's a lot of fun. But I would want something in between the 9mm and the 25/1.4.

I meant to write that I have been using the 15mm body cap lens "less" not "next." I disagree with you on it. I don't have a 28mm lens for my m4/3, and it fit my needs. Although not weatherproof, it's cheap price and thin profile allowed me to use it as a bad weather camera, although at some point I'll need to get a faster bad weather lens.

Also, although it's probably obvious, the pictures I posted are from the fisheye🙂

yeah, i'm not sure the 9mm is a fisheye, I think the fov is somewhat less than 180, but I've seen many great images from it. The 15mm, not so many, not sure, but I think my phones would take as good or better images.

One option for you, is an slr lens on an adapter for 28mm. I have a 28mm/2.8 Konica, not sure if it's weatherproof, but a great 28mm, if the size is ok with you, and the IQ is pretty good, and usable in low light.

The 25/1.4 I have is pretty low quality, every image vignettes, soft edges, but it has a lot of character, like that 9mm bcl.
