barnack accessories

i have my old iid and it's a neat camera --- the accessories are the neat things as well --- i've got the ablon film template, the scnoo winder, the okaro filter, the sports finder ---- what other accessories can be neat to have -- the most difficult part so far has been a case / strap as there are no lugs AND the scnoo is not a nice flat surface ---- am at a loss for a case short of getting an 80 yr old leather case for $400 or getting a $400 luigi case --- there don't seem to be any other scnoo inclusive case solutions- -- there's a few nice half cases if i ditch the scnoo ---0


what are some of your favorite and most obscure leitz accessories?

Don't buy old cases for any serious money. Stitching rots and straps fall apart.

Many an old case is now called a half case 'cos the front has gone missing...

I get quite animated about old leather cases, yes they were great when they were new but so many old cameras and lenses have been ruined by long term storage in them.

I thought ebay was a reasonable place to find old cases.

The APDOO is nice to have (self timer) and they're usually pretty cheap. The HEBOO (slow speed device) is also handy if you're looking to do speeds slower than 1/20th (prices seem to vary wildly). If you want to go really crazy, how about a WINTU angle finder?

stereoly is a pricey one..... i like the wintu, but it's like looking down a mousehole....

i suffered myself to buy a nikkor 85/2 ltm yesterday with m adapter generic for $100

It will keep you busy for years!

Alternatively, and they are still cheap, all the weird copying stands and close focus devices.
