Barnack film loading, a long leader idea

Does an ABLON (or knockoff) travel well in a camera bag? Or is it something that is only used at home, and not taken along on trips?
The ABLON takes up almost no room and is very rugged. I don't carry it in my camera bag because I would also have to carry the utility knife I use with it, and that would take up quite a bit of room in my little bag. Not to mention the trouble when flying. What I do instead is pre-cut the leaders on all of my film when I buy it in factory-loaded cartridges or bulk load it in FILCA cassettes.

For a year I used a IIIf regularly as my only camera for weekend outings. I settled on the business card method and my fastest loading time was 30 seconds standing up with the bottom plate in my pocket. I went back to the M and sold all the Barnacks except one because it was attached to a Tom A Rapidwinder and I had lost the stock bottom plate so couldn't sell it. Anyway I tried taking it out for a shoot years later and couldn't for the life of me load the dam thing. I finally gave up. So which ever method you settle on it is matter of practice practice practice.
