the rangefinderforum classifieds for me is a little be expensive because I'm in italy and everything I buy out of UE I will pay a lot of extras for duty and vat , and there is few sellers from UE ......but I allways try to find somethig ..........for an exemple I'm waiting photos of a canon 50 1,4 ltm.......

I think calling it a fake is a little harsh since it is clear as day that its a chrome body repaint (chrome strap lugs are the obvious giveaway). Once you accept that its then down to how good the job is, not so much the paint finish but if the paint will stick properly, and if when it does scratch off it will show the correct brassing. Stripping the chrome is a very easy process so if that hasn't been done the whole camera is a waste of money.
