Broken M6 auction, what do you think?

Early Wetzlers were prone to meter problems. When they went back to the factory sometimes the Leitz was replaced by Leica. Tom A, as usual, is right...probably not worth the trouble...an excellent ++ M6 for $1200 are common and a good deal.

I risked and bet, although I don´t expect to win. Actually, I´m pretty sure this will rise a lot in the final minutes. Everything with Leica on it sells like hell... especially if it´s black! :)

About "Meisterbetrieb", it could be he is talking about "Meister-Kamera" a very high reputed official Leica dealer in Hamburg.

There is also an important information, that this sale is from private and therefore ALL kind of warranty / return excluded.
