TIP:
If your rangefinder is not accurate carefully remove the black plastic cover to the right of the viewfinder window. Place camera on a tripod, focus the lens on an object at infinity .With a small + screwdriver turn the screw adjustment (mine needed to be turned CCW) one complete turn and recheck infinity focus

I recently had to repair mine. Contacted Tamron US who sent me to Tamron Germany, who suggested Eurohitech.
The least I can say is that I'm not very pleased with the service. Completely phoney invoicing, and only half the work was done (but everything was billed of course). Trying to resolve this with them...

Yes, I'd also like to know how to do the vertical alignment. Have send my camera to Tamron to do this and nothing changed when I got it back. 250 euro's for that...

I bought my camera from KEH, and when it needed repairs, KEH first lost it, then found it, then couldn't fix it, then sent it to Tamron.... And i never saw the camera again. Apparently Tamron couldn't fix it, either. A fiasco on all fronts....

Great camera, though. When it's working.

The film transit of the RF645 isn't robust. Mine was repaired once under warranty, and it started to act up again about a year later. I sold it and bought a Mamiya 7II. No regrets.

Hello,

my RF645 had a broken viewfinder window. I have sent it (from Germany) to Eurohitech (UK).

It's 6 weeks there until now, but on my severals requests, it should be back this week.

I will report my experieces, when the camera is back. Until now, I can't say, that the repair handling was a pleasure for me and I hope, I will positively surprised.

I will see and give a feedback.

Just had a real bad experience with eurohitech. They charged me for parts they have not actually changed or provided. Communication has been very poor.

I do not actually do it this way, because on my camera this will cause the close focusing to be off. I prefer to have 1m right on than infinity. Therefore I perform the fine tuning on the 1m setting of the lens, using a ground glass to check focusing. I also make sure the distance from the film plane and subject is exactly 1m.

After a little difficult communication, I expexted to be disappointed.

But they did a good job for a fair amount.

Upon asking known repair man Frank Marshman whether he works on Bronicas or not, he replied "I've worked on probably 10,000 Bronicas." Needless to say, I would send it to him if you are on the East Coast. He's in VA and he just shipped my Fuji G690BL back to me (arrives tomorrow!). He was extremely easy to communicate with, a very kind fellow, and charged a very fair price for a total CLA + shutter repair. I recommend him whole-heartily!

A second recommendation for Frank Marshman. He can do it all on the RF645 and at a fair price. I don't think he'd mind me supplying his email for potential customers. It's camerawiz@msn.com. By the way, I don't think there's an easy way to do the vertical alignment, probably not a DIY adjustment. In my experience the RF645's I had were always spot on or very, very close in vertical alignment so I assume the mechanism is rather robust and not easily changed, similar to the vertical adjustment on the Zeiss Ikon.
