Just Joe
I acquired an Alden 74 on Friday and thought it felt a bit heavy, and being a bit of a fool, I cracked open the film-spool area... and was greeted by a reasonably sized roll of film in there.. I slapped it shut, and figured if I hadn't exposed it, somebody else surely was curious and opened it too..
Had nothing to lose and I figured that maybe you'd only ruin what was loose, and not the whole spool, so I pulled about 3' out of the loader and tossed it, and then loaded a canister and went out and fired it off.
Developed it this afternoon (Ilfosol 3/6min @20C) with a roll of Foma 200 and low and behold! Images!
The edge says "KODAK TX 5063, I think; uncertain of the 63 on the end.
Appears that it must be Tri-X 400?
Film is still drying, so I can't yet say if it's fogged or ruined.
Uncertain on times, but, it looks like the Tri-X 400 with I-3&20c seems to want more than 6 min according to Massive Dev (more like 12).
I've been mostly doing my Foma 200 at 6-min, according to MassDev, that's good, anybody else have any experience with Ilfosol 3?
Thanks,
J
