Camera and Coffee

I got this old uncoated 8.5" Wollensak Velostigmat that a friend dated back to circa 1925. It doesn't do a bad job! The flare on the left is kind of quaint.

This is a scan of a wet print, 8x10.

Conor -- Im green with envy. I've been wanting one of those 8.5" Velostigmats for my Graflex R.B. Series D. If you ever want to get rid of it, let me know. Anything that old can't be very good. :)

Conor, I hope that is your name (tetrisattack)

Boy, that is one of best B&W I seen on the any .com .net site. I wouldn't worry about the slight flare.

I should augment that, any scanned negative that I have seen on the web.

And they say all the advantages of 4x5 don't show up on the web! ;)

Gordy -- it's a triple convertible, the autococking betax #5 shutter sounds like a bicycle sprocket, there're bubbles in the glass, and all the brassing is genuine. I'll make sure to bring it next time there's an RFF meet.

It's not a rangefinder, but they'll have to do. Two Tessars for the price of one: my Rollei A110 and my new-to-me Yashica T4 Super (thanks jasonhupe!).

(Honestly, the thread has been a bit quiet lately, and the cameras were in my pocket and bag, so...)

Hey, Eric, you gotta show us another pic of that M6. What sort of covering does it have on it? Looks intriguing from that side angle...

Thanks,
Randy

My Yashica 35CC and a cup of coffee :) Sorry about all the grain, but I was using very very old HP5 (1994) and a Oly Xa..

(that's a Indo-Portuguese chair on the background eheheh)

Robert,
That is a very cool Argus! Did you do that yourself? Or is it a factory finisk?
The TLR looks pretty good, too actually.
Thanks!
Rob
