coelacanth--NICE!
What make of watch is that?
Love the look of the dial...
Thanks!
Paul

It's made by a very small German watch maker Guinand. It's called Flying Officer, and it runs modified 7760 hand winding movement going 1 revolution in 24 hours. Guinand made the watch with same name and very close aesthetics several decades ago. This is the "new" version made by Mr. Sinn (founder of Sinn), the owner of reborn Guinand then, currently the mastermind of the company's watch designs.

Rotary phones aren't just a hoot or a joke. They keep on working when the power goes out and all other electronics stop working. I keep 1 rotary dial phone in my house. Saved my mother-in-law's life during a long power outage.

Wow... I thought those old phones were illegal ! Something about possibly being electrocuted using them. In any case they sure look dangerous.

Dangerous as a bludgeoning weapon, yes. Electrocution hazard, no way.
Also not near as dangerous as the radiation your brain is soaking up every time you put a cell phone to your ear.

After a successful purchase of my first 90mm M lens (1960 9cm/f4 Elmar-M) at a flea market, an espresso and a cigarillo is needed.
