Camera and Coffee

Paul--meant to ask earlier--what is that "stuff" floating in your coffee? 🙂 Or is that coffee?
Paul B

I'm not Paul, but I think I recognize it: When you use a French press whose filter screen has aged, got brittle, and cracked, a few grains of ground coffee escape up into the final product when you depress the plunger. Just now I am finishing up a cup made in my French press whose screen is so holey that I must post-process the coffee by pouring through a tea strainer. (First-World problem, yes, but definitely time for a new screen.)

San Cristobal --- gorgeous mountain town (6k feet high) in South Mexico -Chiapas region. Delicious, sweet Central American coffee - but American prices! the only "high end" cafe in town. they roast their own beans. Here is one of their cold brew contraptions with the 0.58x M7 with 21/3.4, CV VF, & balance level on a double accessory shoe.
