Yes, it was a very finicky camera, the electronics were anything but robust by the time I got my hands on it.

Konica AR lenses are excellent, some exceptional. Unfortunately, SLRs aren't up to par.

I own a T3 and a TC, both are quite sturdy; the T3 has some Nikkormat vibe to it.

I've had all the Konica cameras with AR mounts. My favorites are the T and the T3.

Ah, the X-300s. I remember running in 1993 with a bunch of magazine vouchers and a bit of pocket money to buy it - early memories of commercial scamming (no such offer existed). I still have the magazine advert.

I now have the vanilla-plain X-300. Nice camera.

I prefer the x300 to the x300s... it's a question of feeling. However, I also rarely use the x300s... in the end I always choose the srt101. Just like when I use Konica, I always choose the autorefkex T rather than the TC.
