Camera and Coffee

Well, perhaps a 2x3 graphic, but no it's not _that_ big. And I really love it. It does have it's quirks (to put it mildly) but it's a wonderful little camera if it fits you. It is big, heavy, and it's as ugly as a box of rocks but I can handhold f2 at 1/25th with the Jupiter 8hb without shake (even got the shot published in a local newsletter) and the viewfinder is a delight to use.

Kootney powder, indeed, not power. Alas, the powder we rode 3 days ago has turned to slurpee. And yes, it was on Red Mountain (techically Granite Mtn, part of the same resort).

Here's the Canonet enjoying an outing in the vineyard... No coffee for the time being - wine comes first 🙂

I have a sneaking suspicion about that Jupiter 12 as well LOL. It'll do you well greyhoundman! And 9 and 11s are really nice too.

Just had to take this picture of the T and my 2 "new" lenses...

I never had a R or R2 but I have a R3A. I must say that the slower handling due to the separate finders and missing AE is no issue for me. I am not out for action photos when using the T. I take my time, walk around and try to learn how to take better pictures. Especially I like the T in the evening/night. The rangefinder patch is very easy to be seen (at least for me) and it is a joy to compose with these excellent CV finders. Very bright. To make it short - I like the T.

Who's afraid of the dark then????

Who's afraid of the dark then????

I just couldn't help myself!! I'd had a Noctilux before and regretted selling it. This one is new so perhaps I had done my (mot insubstantial) bit towards helping Leica's liquidity problem!!!

with that Ilford and that lens there's no limit! 🙂 Love the mug as well.

I bought the 3200 pre Noctilux when I was using a slower lens and haven't ventured out with anything fater than Tri-X yet but I suspect with this particular combination if I can see it I can photograph it!!!

Nice Noctilux. I want one. Even have the 60mm filter to go onto one. Nice MP, if Leica upticks we can thank you for it.

Be sure to set up a folder of Noctilux pictures. Not too many people organize shots to show off what that lens can do.

The Canon 50mm lens uses a 72mm filter. Big, but easy to find. My Nikkor 20mm F3.5, 180mm F2.8 and 300mm F4.5 use the same filter size as it does.

I suffered myself from Serelust last week, of course I like rangefinders mainly for them being so small and light 😉

Sorry for the missing coffee... I couldn't wait...
