Camera and Coffee

Thought I might let my S2 send regards from a Paris café to mr Sweeneys SP. I think it looks rather sad and lonely among all the real and pseudo germans in this coffee society. Be careful with the drinks! (If american liqour was as weak as american coffee, I wouldn't be worried...).

Alone? Don't You see the S2? No, seriously, I'm there with my Ricoh GR1 wich captured the moment ...and my wife is having the other cup and our daughter is asleep in her stroller. Paris is nice in June...

Hmmm, it seems I'm the only one here who doesn't drink coffee, unless I want a really bad case of the runs.

Can I join in with tea or cocoa? Or milk? Coke, perhaps?
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease...?!

I finally scanned my coffee + rangefinder pic. I only shot 1 roll of film with the Fed since I received it 2 weeks ago. Biggest problem was not having a lightmeter. I checked most of the shots with my digital camera. The results are not brilliant, but look promising. I'll post some shots in the near future.

I used the final shot of the first roll of my 'new' Canonet 28 for this pic and I scanned it with my 'new' Nikon LS-1000 Scanner... You see, I'm new to rangefinders and rediscovering analogue photography.

Jacob, Nice S2. Of all of the Nikon RF's, it is the best for the 5cm Lens.

I have not "bought" a cup of coffee in a restaurant or Cafe in decades. If I do not make it myself, it is too weak. as for the "Kentucky Gentleman"; it is strong enough to burn out Bronchitis when mixed HOT with Honey and Lemon. I like to use it to "Depth Charge" winter Flu.

I will have to get a shot of the Nikons and Canons facing off agaist the Leicas and Retinas.

I don't know why, but evertime I am out taking photos and I have a camera with me, I want to pop off a few more coffee and camera shots and post them. I refrain, or I'd be posting new photos two or three times a week. Even though I am not posting them, I'm still taking them!!!! Its an addiction, just like the coffee itself.

I think my portfolio is going to end up with a Coffee and Camera section in the next month or so!

On a trip to Leavenworth Washington today (Bavarian village in the Cascades) I had the Konica S2 burning Velvia of the Fall leaves and stopped for coffee at Starbucks (in WA, go figure - LOL) 😛

And, in an effect to push this thread to new heights. My lovely wife caught me, the Konica S2, Nikon FE2 and the Cascade mounians above Leavenworth, enjoying a relaxing moment with my Mocha Breve'.
