Hell, we can rename our OS to Microsoft Viewfinders 😀

Taffer - YOU are complaining about chill? in Barcelona? What can we say up here, then.

I want a job that is part time here part time in Senegal. From october till april i want to be in Senegal.
Or something similar.

By the way, for those 40$ i did not even get a freakin' tracking number! It's insured, though.
Ok, it was sent only a week ago. I think i'm too impatient.

I'm using Microsoft Windex, many blue stack dump windows but at least they are always bright and clean 😀

Well what I'm complaining about is that two weeks ago I was still in T-shirt, then suddenly deep winter arrives and leaves you with a more bluish tint than those blue screens, brrrr... Nowadays both spring and autumn in BCN seem to last for just two weeks !

If it was sent via EMS or similar I'd say normal time is around 7-9 days to most locations in Europe. Hope it will show up soon, but remember that once you have a Contax, you'll be begging for more ! 😉 (After all, what Russians DIDN'T KNOW when they took the CZJ machines to Kiev is that they were taking an unwelcome guest on those trains as well... the CZJ camera bug !!!!)

Anyhoo, getting back on topic....😉

A short black, and an espresso. 🙂

Joe,
I used to drink Oly too. But, then they closed the brewery

Oh my, it appears a monster has gotten loose on the catwalk! This is the divine Fujica G-690 with removeable 100mm f3.5 lens. Affectionately known as 'Big Fuji,' this baby can really deliver the goods! We've got the optional 180mm lens for her, still looking around for the really wide-angle lens. She runs on 120 or 220 roll film. It looks like she's going to eat that poor Oly 35 RC!

Having eaten the poor little Oly, Big Fuji now cozies up to the Yashica GSN. A bit more of a challenge, but I suspect that Fuji can manage...

Olympus 35 RC and Coffee - note the classy authentic Oly lens hood...

Bill

I too, found a new, still in the box, original hood foy my Oly RC. Also, a new original Oly made skylight and deep yellow filter for it. I was lucky that day. I orient the small gap in the hood towards the bottom. Slightly decreases the chance of overhead sunlight, spilling onto the front element. The gap is there so that you can reverse the hood, when you have it packed away. However, I just leave it in the "on" position, and put a small cheap 52mm plastic lens cap, directly onto the hood. It's a perfect fit!

The photo Beacon, that she is reading, is a 1905 publication! It's the GIII QL-17, Viv ES & Oly RC on the coffee table.

Joe, my heart is full of sadness for you and your tragic situation. If only I could think of some way to alleviate your suffering...

Happens to the best of us, my friend. In my case, I found the lens hood in a thrift store in Albuquerque, still in the original box - marked $3. I asked the clerk if the price was right - he said nah, better just give me a buck for it.

Once in a long while, clean livin' catches up to me. The rest of the time, I'm a day late, a dollar short.

But check out this lens I just used to take the coffee/cameras photos (not mine, but mine is just like it):

I'm using it on my Bessaflex - very pleased!
