Camera and Coffee

Stet: What? I would think that in AR any foodstuffs with the name "weasel" would be in high demand. The premium version would be "roadkill weasel".

High demand? That's just some ev'ryday stuff you can find outside your (car)door. The delicacies here would be fried Oreos, fried Snickers bars and greasy, grilled PB&Js. But I guess that's nothing to a Rochester gourmand accustomed to "garbage plates."

But I will tell you that after two cups, small, similar to the expesso coffee in Italian restaurants, I had a caffine rush that is probably illegal in some states.
Never had a coffee on the Bosporus. But try one Ca Phe Sua Da for comparison's sake. While Turkish is both strong and thick, Ca Phe Sua Da is rich and very potent. It will give you a serious jump start.

LOL. I've had two garbage plates ... and regreted them both. The second one was after a fair amount of beer, which is the only way I could see myself eating at Nick Tahou's a second time.

I am now a wine & fine(r) cuisine guy for the most part.

Not great shots, but good enough for the girls I run with. Attached, the Z4, "Do I mow the yard or take the Zorki for a walk? Better coffee on it." And the Z3M, just arrived yesterday and fitted with one of Gordy's great straps.

Until my Zorki 3m's return from Oleg, this is what I'm shooting with.
I have been using the japanes tele/wide finder as it is much lighter than the FSU turret finder. The FED and Kiev don't seem to mind sharing.

Had a few shots left in a camera, but wanted the roll finished - so what else is there to do but shoot a few 'coffee & camera' pics?

My Bessa R with Canon 50/1.8 II, case, and self-made wrist-strap, and my girlfriend's new cup (OK, I admit, she prefers cocoa or tea to coffee...).

Roman

PS: Should have cleaned the viewfinder window before the shot ;) Edges on the R are taped for better protection.

My Bessa L with 25/4 Snapshot Skopar, handgrip, and homemade wrist-strap; Cameraquest only had silver ones left, so I taped it to make it stealthier ;)
This was the last shot on the roll, so half of my IKEA cup got cut off - this cup gets me free coffee for life-time at the IKEA restaurants (but I usually forget to bring it along...)

Nice shots Roman !! I really liked the Bessa R when I handled it and remember the tape protection :) Also... I admit, Nicole's cup is way cool ! :D

The cup is from the Kukuxumusu shop - I had to drag her out of there, she bought the cup, a handbag, fridge magnets, notepads, postcards... They do have some original & fun stuff!

Actually, it was mainly because I did not like the silver plastic of the L... Plus I thought it migh protect the edges of the camera better agains scratching and bumps (I don't baby my equipment, so every little thing helps).

ok

ok

maybe i am just dense.. but i have tried every piece of HTML/PHP i can think of.... how do you guys attach thumbnails directly into the messages??

yeah yeah.. if i'd 'a found it in the FAQ i wouldn't be asking

I just use the 'Manage attachments' button after clicking 'Post reply' - maybe it depends on the file size whether a thumbnail is diplayed?
