Camera and Coffee

It is both the aesthetic pleasure of a camera and coffee together, especially a particularly pretty camera and a well prepared cup of coffee. It's also the feeling I get looking at a camera sitting with a cup of coffee. It represents something idyllic. Something wonderful. I can't quite describe it, but I love it.

Exactly! Well put. :)

Joe, we must be soul brothers. I could give up many things, but NOT coffee. I like Tim Horton's too -- I'm not too fussy as long as the coffee's reasonably good :)

Yeah, an R2... You guys are bad influences ...

Coffee is a necessity of life. Along with a fine pilsner, SEC football, Texas barbecue, baseball and a plentiful supply of TRI-X.

Nice looking camera. Is it the 2nd version RTS? I've only had the original one, and need to get it out more often. The lenses are really nice. Is that the 50 1.7? It looks a little different than mine; maybe just a different generation.

RTS II and Planar 50 1.7

Camera bought last autumn in England. Shot taken today in Limburg/Lahn in Hesse, Germany.

Yes, there is a film in the cam, a format 135 "adapted". ;)

Americano, no milk, for a change and an F gets some morning exercise. An early example 6417279 with a none AI 35mmf2.

Yes the counter is on 36, it always is, forever.

Is no one else drinking coffee at the moment?

Today's choice one of the Alpas, make Leica shutters sound loud and crude.
And yes it has a rangefinder as well.

Enjoying some coffee while looking through old prints.

I just LOVE to play around with that "vintage" stuff, may it be medium format, 135 or digital...

I found a cheapy (ebay) wide angle screw in 39mm shade that works great on my 21 f4 SA. I don't know if it really does any good, but it keeps my fingers out of the frame ;)

Thanks for the info about the 21/4 hood. I found the same one you suggested on Amazon (last one of Prime eligible stock) so it should be here in a couple of days. We'll see how that works out.

Hey buddy, yeah, that cake is ok (it's the Shanghainesium kind - I am sooooo missing proper German cake already).

Just as I wanted to walk out the door it's raining heavy and I slipped in a quick what's in my bag today, waiting for the rain to let off just a little - forgot the coffee cup but you can imagine ;-)

… love these Domke pouches I got a few months ago - they really replace to lug around a bag (just wear one on a belt and you have all he lenses with you you ever want).
This one here holds the 85/2 and 35/1.8 Nikkor in individual LowePro pouches.
That SP is sweeeeet and I am having zero urge to drool over M10's these days just because of it!
