In honour of my Mother, I decided have an afternoon cup of Red Rose. I decided to pull out the good cups and saucers for a change - some very old Doulton, likely turn of the 20th century. Teapot is from the 1930's.
Joining us for tea is our 1937 Zeiss Super Ikonta B (533/16) with a rigid Albada finder. I should actually put this nice camera to use more often.

Nice one Lynn -- I shudder to think of how many cups of coffee I'd have if I put all my cameras on one table!

Jeez, it is a nice sight to see people (or cameras, at least) are able to gather once again! Talented barista as well!

Yes it's great to be social again with friends, and without masks. You might appreciate this barista's art:

Which Film.....?
Which Film.....?
I recently was fortunate to come on to this cup which was proprieary to Torrefazione of Seattle back before they were bought out by that other larger coffee Seattle company in early 2K days.
I had two of these at that time but sadly they broke. A close friend and family to the company had these lying around and graciously loaned me two. The saucer has been with me the whole time.
The M3, recently acquired from a friend is fully dressed for this photo op with TA soft-release, and Richard Wasserman rewind crank, both sitting around for many years, waiting for me to come to my senses and get another M2 or 3 to shoot this roll of APX 25, also sitting. This is my first ever M3.

Early morning mashup of coffee -- a bit of Gevalia, a bit of grocery store decaf, a bit of I don't know what else (my wife made it!).

Vince's Ikonta B is a beauty and got my attention so much I used a Russian connection to get a Moskva 5....with a leather case and the inserts....needing repair. Should be interesting and I can't wait to use the rangefinder. As an aside I just transplanted the first curtain main spring frim a Kiev 4 to a Contax I (f), not for the faint at heart but after the tedium there is some satisfaction....now to figure out how to use a flash at slow speed to stop action the wings on these carpenter bees carrying away my porch!
