Camera and Coffee

At 6.00am last Wednesday I went up to Hadleigh Castle to catch the sunrise. We had clear blue skies and the light was fantastic! While on a break from photographing the castle I made a couple of my QL17 GIII. (It isn't coffee, it's tea, but what did you expect from an Englishman? :p) Ilford Delta 100 in rodinal 1+50 for 12 minutes.

Andy: Very nice, especially the first one. That Delta/Rodinal combination is really, really nice. Never been a fain of T/c-shell grain, but this may tip me over.

Thanks Earl, my personal favourite is the third shot for the way the light falls on the lens.

i like that look too.
andy what are you rating the film at?

joe

Hi Joe, it was rated at 80asa in my Olympus OM-1. Development was for 12 minutes using one slow inversion (taking ten seconds) per minute.

Vladhed, good pic! What lens do you have on your Fed 2? Mine is off to see Oleg...

...just the Industar-26 (50mm f/2.8) that it came with. My Jupiter-8 and 12 are in storage whilst the house is being built

Tower 3 & morning coffee...

Tower 3 & morning coffee...

Hi,

I thought I'd share a quick pic of my new (as of yesterday afternoon) Tower type 3 from Dexdog (aka Mark M.)... I have wanted a Barnack clone for a while now, but was hesitant to pay more than $50 for any fsu camera (not sure why, I've only had good experiences)... Anyway, I am now a convert to the idea of spending some money for quality & will be saving my pennies for some Nikkor glass (anyone got a 50/2 that they would like to see go to a good home?).

Cheers!

Peter

My recently acquired and CLAd Soldier's Jsolette

Pictures are awesome, and the 6x6-6x4.5 format changing is quite awesome!

Peter: That's a beauty! Hey, if you're into clones, it would be cool to have a Tower 19 (Olympus Ace) next to the Oly scope, eh?

Thanks fraley & Trius... It is a beauty & I haven't been able to stop fiddling with it... I'm definitely glad I bought it! I hadn't put film in a bottom loader before & it took me a couple of tries before I got the hang of it... I don't think I'll be having any problems from now on though.

Trius, I hadn't seen a Tower 19 before... Cool looking camera though & it would match our 'scopes... Were the lenses for this camera ltm? It doesn't look like it, but I couldn't find any info...

Edit: couldn't find any info because I was looking up Tower 19 instead of Oly Ace... Seems like they were quite a camera for the time... If interested check this link (click).

Cheers!

Peter

Please forgive this " digital " photograph. White balance issues. When seen in hand, she looks much closer to red than purple. But definitely reptile. Probaly snake as you observed!

Here´s my S2 with some other hobby equipment... But no coffee this late in the evening ;)
