Camera and Coffee

Looks good to me, joe. A capable looking pair.

thank you sir!

i had oiginally envisioned the m3 and the zi working together, but the cl is a 'better' back up, lighter and smaller and that zm 35 is a perfect fit.

Joe, I need a modern rangefinder camera with built-in meter and clear viewfinder. This is more important to me than adding lenses. I don't know why I make the mistake to get lenses when I need a modern camera body.

the finder is great for an old geezer like me, so big and bright and easy to see when the lens is in focus.
and i'm embarrased to admit that the built in meter is beginning to seduce me.
i think that's why the cl has become the back up for the zi - they both have meters built in.
i still find it easier to meter handheld but i like not having to carry an extra peice of equipment around.
and the 2 new lenses just have spoiled me rotten - they are just so smooth yet firm to focus.
i really want the zm 50 now...

Very nice Gene *evny* You and I seem to have similar tastes in equipment - probably due to our close geographic proximity. The only difference is that I wish I had a pair of Leicas and you actually do have a pair of Leicas :)

They're not a matched pair -- I sometimes think of selling the IIIf to get another M-mount body, but every time I take the IIIf out on a walk I fall in love with it all over again. It's such a sweet shooter (once I get past the loading bit :D )

First weekend this year warm enough to sit at my balcony.and get a cup of coffee.
Best moment to show the Yashica how the new home looks like ;)

Beautyful Yashica, Traveller. It looks like new.
My problem is that i finish my capuccino faster than my digicam wakes up. I still wish to share this japo-german meeting. Including a half Swede to indicate the century. Everything that is stuckable on the Voigtländer is stuck. Anyone think it is worth to try to fix it?

It was raining yesterday and I was bored, so I started photos of cameras and coffee.

Go for it. Work in one area at a time cleaning everything within an inch of it's life. Who knows?

How do you like the Rollei flash? It's a nice size, IMO.

My latest acquisition - a Canon VT de-luxe with 50mm f1.2 and hood. I think we are gonna get along just fine......!
