I thought it was a home made finder recycled from a disposable camera. Maybe Fraley will enlighten us. Jim

that Zorki appears to be really looking forward to the coffee. Or at least it looks very interested in the coffee.

Bill . . . you have a good life. All other things as they may be, it couldn't possibly be bad!
I don't drink coffee (allergic), but that looks like the RF645 of coffee machines. And of course you have the two best cameras ever made!
nice mug too.
everyone notice : size difference between the RF645 and the M7. . . .surprisingly little, isn't it?

To me, it still (and probably always will) look like a Dalek.

billbarber: Very nice photo; I like the composition. I had a coffee from that machine (well not YOUR machine mind you) the other day; it was a nice cup and the machine is very impressive. But yowza, it's not a cheap machine!
kully: the zorki has its back turned to the Bialetti; what's with that? I have a Bialetti Brikka on order; we'll see how it performs. Both of you, feel free to jump in here
joe: yeah, it's a bubble level. my tongue was in my cheek, of course.

Bialetti? That's much too bourgeious (I'm too common to even spell that properly), that's a Spanish ripoff of the Bialetti design (try and say they didn't invent it in Spain to a Spaniard and escape with your life).
The Zorki has it's back turned because it is philosophically thinking about socialism, and how best to muck up my first roll of film through it.

Has anyone noticed how many RFs are showing up here with a VC meter?
I fully understand this having just bought a S/H VCI and i do find it makes most cameras look much more serious, mind i feel i might need a black VCII for the CL if i can't get it's meter going.

George:
Funny (strange; not Ha Ha) that you live in Seattle and are allergic to coffee.
I was up in Seattle last month (just for the day) and Love it there!
The coffee machine (like the RF645) is built like a tank - it's the mother of all automatics. The M7 though smaller, weighs about the same as the RF645.
Trius:
Thanks - the picture could use some straightening, but I appreciate the comments.

Started out as a "cameras and coffee" and ended up looking like something from a police report.
what a funny disease for a photographer type to get. Was it maybe camera-transmitted? Would we call that a CTED? Camera transmitted eye disease?
Looks like you shot that with a softFX filter. How corny can we get?

The soft highlight bloom? Oh yeah, said I was bored- that happened in photoshop when I got carried away with layers and gaussian blur. Yep, corny.
It's a lot like the way everything looks to me right now.
The conjunctivitus? My step son brought that home from college. Not fun.
