Camera and Coffee

Gene, I don't think your cardiologist wants you to sit through Sound of Music four times in a day ... much less get high.

Yeah, too many trips to the bathroom now a days. Better to just rent the DVD and have the pause button handy.

How do you find the soft release sbug?

I always felt there was just too much 'lost motion' in the GIII release and was always going to 'pad' it a touch - it's pretty basic. But I'll pinch the release from my F1N for and give it a go first.

M3. From me to Kyle, to Joe (+Aki) and back to me. With Summilux 50/1.4 and custom Luigi braid. With a 2 lb bag of Panama beans from Sweet Maria's. :)

Life is good.

I have to say, Joe did a bang-up job re-covering it. Talking about women - the only look I get from my wife when a camera comes in the mail is usually more of a dagger look. When this came, she picked it up, looked it over and went, "Is THIS as Hermes Leica?" Now she doesn't know s**t about Leicas, but she does know her Hermes. ;)

...And on a related note...

I like it quite a bit. It does make the relase fairly high, but I think the feel is better. I guess it just feels better to my finger. It's still a wobbly, long-throw shutter release though.

We were camping a wee bit back and I took a moment in the morning to try and show off my Isolette III.
