Darkroom printing lives
I had no idea this topic will annoy the weight sensitive people here...
Just a friendly advice,
next time you're opening a post like this, prefix it with:
"I'm cooped-up inside the house because it's raining, so I wonder..."
Or make is a question:
"I wonder if psychologically, there is a connection between the physical size of the camera and its operator...?"
Or your name is joe (with small letters).
It was Julia Roberts in the movie "Stepmom" that used the Nikon E-Series DSLR. circa 1998. It's big, and is a full-frame camera using reduction optics.

Bruce Gilden is a pretty big guy shooting a Leica with a flash and even if you see him on the street, by the time you realize it's him, he's gone. He's invisible or has a cloaking device. Maybe black Leicas really do make one invisible...
I wasn't annoyed at all. It's all tongue in cheek and fun to come up with some satire.

Something clearly out of whack here, then....The camera size should match the body size of the photographer, that is just commonsensical, nothing politically incorrect about it.
