Does anyone has a filter on this lens? Please tell me the exact filter size. Off course it is not 34mm as show in Canon museum. It measure about 24mm or 25mm.
Thanks

My Serenar 35/3.2 is an early version, and it does not have filter threads. Maybe Canon added threads to later versions, like they did with the 28/3.5. Anyway, you can use series filters (and a hood, if you want) via Canon's 36mm Series VI clamp on adapter.

Cheers,

David

Or Kodak's appropriate Series VI adapter, which comes set for 36.5mm outside diameter. It's adjustable by bending the tabs in. Much more common on the used market than the Canon one.

There are both slip-on and clamp-on 36mm to Series VI Canon adapters, the former being more common.

The lens does not have the thread on the outer rim but it has thread in inter rim ( around the glass). I wonder if I can find a filter for the inner rim, does it cause vigneting because this is a wide angle lens?
