Though I've been monitoring this group for more then a year now, with great interest I might add, this is my first post, so I hope I'm doing this correctly.
The reason I write is because I own and enjoy using a number of older rangefinders (a few Canons, a Paxette IIM and a Leica IIF), and would like to start using them as macro cameras on a dedicated macro stand.
Up until coming across this listing, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7622147565 I wasn't aware that Canon made a macro stand system. And though the description states it'll accept most 39M mount cameras, and I realize my Canons should pose no problems, I was wondering if my Paxette and Leica will also work? This appears to be a well made and quite versatal macro system, and if the pictures are any indication, looks to be in excellent condition. Has anyone ever used a system like this, and if so, how well do they work?
Thanks,
Arthur
